What are the principles of C.H.E.K?
Created by Paul Chek, the basic principle of C.H.E.K. is that there are four “doctors” within each of us:
Dr Happiness – your mental and emotional wellbeing and how you approach life
Dr Diet – fuelling your mind and body to look, feel, and perform as your best self
Dr Quiet – managing your energy and prioritising rest and sleep to elevate your recovery
Dr Movement – mindful movement that complements your physical and mental health, prevents disease, and encourages a longer, happier life.
Rather than treating ailments and health complaints in isolation, C.H.E.K. practitioners like me call upon the “four doctors” to assess your overall health – mental and physical.
From here, I’ll create your customised plan factoring in your whole self which leads to profound results – like healing your depression without medication or getting you walking again against medical predictions.
As a fully qualified and experienced CHEK practitioner, I’ve worked with hundreds of individuals using different therapies and techniques.
For you, that may look like massage, corrective exercises, and life coaching sessions to address the physical and mental challenges holding you back in life. The blend of therapies is 100% customised around you so it’s personal and sustainable in the long term.
